My name is Thomasina… but I perform under the alias “Aerial Coco Fyre”.  I originally created an alias to hide my participation in pole dancing from my employer at the time. Over the years, I have embraced my alias as a part of me that I am not able to be in my normal civilian life.

I took my first pole dancing class around 2011. I liked it… but hated my instructor. I started pole dancing in more regularly in 2015 when I found another studio and instructor that made me feel comfortable and safe. I fell in love with the sport, and decided to get certified to teach others like me who do not have a background in dance or gymnastics.

I went to Atlanta in 2017 to take a private lesson at Vertical Joe’s. I did a 2-hour twerk lesson. It was a hot mess… and I loved every minute of it!!! I laughed so hard during the workout. It was an amazingly freeing feeling. I wanted others to be able to experience the same.

I realized that there was no one in my area who taught Twerk… and I still wasn’t good at it myself 🤦🏾‍♀️. I tried watching YouTube videos for tutorials. Bad idea! I only ended up hurting myself and getting frustrated. I never thought I would be able to learn how to twerk safely, so I was determined to find a formal class to learn.

I went to PoleCon Intensive in Baltimore in February 2019 & took an 8-hour course to become a Twerk Certified Twerk Technician®️ by FiyaStarta, the owner of Vertical Joe’s (and Twerk Master extraordinaire). In 2023, after delays and some imposter syndrome sprinkled in, I finally completed my LapRyderz certification.

I offer not only safe, fun and entertaining classes, but I also provide my clients with privacy. Your name and likeness will not be used for promotional purposes without prior explicit consent. Bad enough we don’t want to go to work as it is. We don’t need fake a$$ coworkers judging us
